Julia Galloway at TCS!
So much wisdom, so little time. We’re still absorbing everything Julia taught us this weekend. Everyone at The Clay School agrees that we are so lucky that Julia was Kirsten’s mentor in grad school!

Time to trim the 25lb platter.
But once you throw a 25lb platter, you have to trim it somehow…and it’s too big for your bats! So you use drywall and a wheel that’s up on cinder blocks.

Meredith Host: Paper Resist
Our Meredith Host workshop was fabulous! From paper stenciling and screen-printing with underglaze to underglaze tissue transfers and mishima, Meredith covered it all with amazing tips, tricks, and so much humor. Can’t wait to have her back!
Nicole Aquillano: Slipcasting + Mishima
We had a blast hosting Nicole, learning to make one-part slipcasting molds, and trying out her signature mishima inlay technique.
We Won! We Won!!!
We joined the Intuit Love Our Local Business Make a Wish contest on a whim and won $5000 for a new kiln!!!
