Wednesday PM: 7:00-9:30pm with Kim, Total Beginner - Advanced
Wednesdays 7:00-9:30pm
January 8 - February 26
(8 weeks)
Total Beginner - Advanced
Instructor: Kim Allison
Kim's classes focus on both wheelthrowing and handbuilding, but are usually a little more wheel heavy, depending on students' interests. There will be projects and demos for students who have some clay experience to advanced levels with instruction both as a group and one-on-one. There will be emphasis on challenging yourself, creating with purpose, embracing experimentation, and working to find your personal style and voice in clay. Kim is always happy to work with students on new skills they're looking to build! Please don't sign up for this class if it is you first one!
Adult classes are for freshman in high school and older and include: one 25 lb. bag of white or red stoneware clay; 24/7 studio access via an Open Studio Hours signup sheet; all glazes and firings
You will need a basic 8-piece tool kit. You can buy one at the studio for $28 or order one before you start class. We like the Kemper kit from dickblick.com or TheCeramicShop.com.
Please Note: Putting a class in your cart DOES NOT automatically save your spot(s) in that class. Registration is not confirmed until you’ve completed the checkout process.
